Slow Kloset (the "Company") values the privacy of its users and strives to comply with applicable data protection laws, including the Personal Information Protection Act. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information users provide, how it is used, and what measures are taken to protect it.
1. Personal Information Collected
The Company collects the following personal information for membership registration and Service provision.
- Required: Email address, password (stored encrypted)
- Automatically generated during Service use: Access logs, usage history, device information (OS, device brand, etc.)
- Optional: Profile nickname, uploaded images (wardrobe item photos)
2. Purpose of Collection and Use
1. Confirming intent to register, identity verification, and providing membership-based services
2. Account verification via email, password reset, and delivering notices
3. Preventing fraudulent use of the Service and unauthorized access
4. Developing new services and analyzing usage statistics for service improvement
3. Retention and Use Period
In principle, the Company destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of collection and use has been achieved. However, information is retained for the period required by applicable law where such retention is legally mandated.
- Upon account deletion: destroyed immediately (retained up to 30 days to prevent fraudulent use)
- Retention under applicable law: in accordance with the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and related regulations
4. Provision to Third Parties
The Company does not provide users' personal information to external parties, except in the following cases:
- Where the user has given prior consent
- Where required by law, or requested by an investigative agency in accordance with legally prescribed procedures for investigative purposes
5. Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing
The Company outsources the following personal information processing tasks to external providers for Service operation.
